Honda has launched the facelifted Elevate in India, with an ex-showroom price starting at Rs 11.80 lakh, identical to the pre-facelift model. However, variants above this have become more expensive by up to Rs 1.94 lakh. The new Elevate introduces several design and packaging changes.
Exterior Design Changes
The facelift doesn't offer a complete redesign but incorporates subtle yet significant updates. Here’s what’s new:
- Front End: The most notable alterations are seen at the front, including a redesigned grille with mesh patterns finished in gloss Black and a segmented LED DRL strip (or 'tri-bar position lamps') connecting the headlamps and DRLs.
- Headlamps: While familiar, slight internal changes include the Honda logo now residing on the bonnet's leading edge instead of the front grille.
- Bumper Design: The front bumper has been restyled for a youthful appeal, featuring a large air dam, skid plate, and projector LED fog lamps housed in body-color housings.
- Rear End: The biggest rear change is a new LED light bar connecting the tail lamps, along with minor tweaks to the bumper.
- Color Options: The facelift introduces 10 exterior color options, including dual-tones and mono-tones, and a new shade called Nordic Forest Pearl.
Interior Upgrades
The cabin offers enhanced comfort and functionality:
- Ventilated Seats: Both front and rear seats are now ventilated, along with power adjustments for the driver's seat (8-way) and co-driver’s seat (4-way).
- 360-Degree Camera: This feature has been added, a trend now seen in even lower-segment cars.
- Reading Lamps: Rear reading lamps with capacitive touch control have been introduced.
- Braking System: All-wheel disc brakes and an electronic parking brake with auto hold function (CVT variants only) are new additions.
- Ambient Lighting: Standard across higher variants, previously available as a dealer option.
- Infotainment: A 10.25-inch touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with an 8-speaker premium audio system.
- Other Features: Includes a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, wireless charger, rear AC vents, and more.
