The Chennai-based bikemaker Royal Enfield recently unveiled the updated Continental GT 650 in India, introducing subtle yet notable changes to its popular cafe racer. To create a buzz around this new version, they’ve launched a new television commercial (TVC) showcasing the motorcycle.
What’s New?
The 2026 update focuses primarily on design and everyday practicality:
- Revised Styling: The Continental GT 650 now features a black-painted instrument cowl for a darker front appearance, along with new LED turn indicators and a USB Type-C fast-charging port.
- Rocker Red Update: This color variant now boasts a blacked-out engine, exhaust, and cast alloy wheels, while the traditional spoke wheels remain available in British Racing Green and Mr. Clean variants.

The updated Continental GT 650 is offered in four color options with prices ranging from Rs 3.58 lakh to Rs 3.88 lakh (ex-showroom).

Technical Details
Despite the update, the Continental GT 650 retains its familiar 648cc air- and oil-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing 47 bhp and 52.3 Nm of peak torque. It continues to be paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features a steel tubular double-cradle frame, telescopic front forks, gas-charged twin rear shock absorbers, and dual-channel ABS.
